SMILE KaiMai Program (SMILE Program) is a clinically researched mind-body exercise program, one of the very few mind-body exercise therapies that has demonstrated improvements in a range of health indicators, including anxiety, depression, stress, sleep quality, body weight, blood glucose, muscle strength, physical function, and quality of life. It is regarded as an innovative approach to chronic disease prevention and health management.
Its clinical outcomes are due to several key features:
- The program integrates elements of Tai Chi, Qigong, dance, resistance training, and other movement practices. It draws on both Traditional Chinese Medicine and Western medical theories while incorporating findings from contemporary exercise and health research.

- It includes lying, seated, standing, walking, and running exercises that are simple, practical, and adaptable to daily life, making regular practice accessible to a wide range of participants.
- Participants are encouraged to develop body awareness, reduce stress, and cultivate a sense of wellbeing, supporting long-term health benefits.
SMILE KaiMai courses have received positive feedback from participants in multiple countries. The program has also been offered as a university-wide elective at the prestigious Beijing University of Chinese Medicine, where it has been highly rated by students.
